 Premenstrual Experiences

Menstruation and changes in hormones can greatly impact our day to day moods and experiences. If you have been diagnosed with a premenstrual disorder or are curious about the way that menstruating impacts your mental health, we’re happy to help. Cognitive therapy has been shown to decrease symptoms related to premenstrual syndrome disorder, premenstrual dysphoric disorder, and many other experiences related to reproductive health and the hormones in our bodies.  Perinatal and Postpartum Experiences

Our bodies go through an immense amount of physical and hormonal changes during pregnancy, labor and in the days or months following birth. These changes can make a huge impact on our mental and emotional wellness, and you might be noticing that you aren’t feeling like your best self. You may have an increase in anxiety or depression symptoms, which are common pieces of perinatal and postpartum disorders. Or, you might be going through emotions such as guilt, confusion, fear - all of which can be normal but also all of which prevent us from being able to enjoy our day to day life.
